Mucha lucha & beyond
I worked in the 2D animation industry from 1997-2008 and was co-owner of Fwak! Animation in Sydney. In 2000, my animation partner Eddie Mort and I co-created a hit animated series - Mucha Lucha - that was broadcast for 52 episodes/three seasons on Kids WB cable network and on Cartoon Network in other countries. We were inspired by our love of Lucha Libre. When the show ended, we followed this up with an independent feature length movie: Los Campeones De La Lucha Libre (2008) which was distributed by AztecaCine in Mexico.
After leaving behind the animation industry to pursue other interests as an artist, the world of wrestlers and monsters continues to be an inspiration.
